• What we’ll do
This is a beginners class for photographers who want to better understand, and learn, how to use their camera’s basic settings and controls. This is not a lecture class! It will function more like a lab where we will explore the camera controls and learn what they do, how to set them, and the effect they have on the final photograph. Again this is structured to be a very basic beginners class. All are welcome.
We will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning 3/20/18 (Except Thursday 3/22/18) for the next three weeks.
If there is interest, after we cover the camera controls and settings, we may do some introductory post processing work. More about that during the class/lab.
• What to bring
This is very IMPORTANT!! Bring your camera with freshly charged battery, YOUR CAMERAS OWNERS MANUAL, and your questions.
• Important to know
This is a hands on lab, not a lecture class. You will be expected to look up control settings in your camera’s owners manual. Please bring only your primary camera if you have more than one.
I am not technically familiar with everyone’s camera. This will not hinder the class because all digital cameras share the same basic controls.
If there are too many people to manage a comfortable, hands on, lab experience for everyone we may have to break into two sections or look for more leaders.iCal |
