Bronson Canyon Park Entrance
This is one of the best hikes in Los Angeles. We will begin our hike at the Bronson Canyon Park to wait for everyone then hike to the iconic “Batcave”. The Batcave is a man-made cave used in filming the first Batman TV series back in the 60’s or 70’s. Afterwards we will hike to the front of the Hollywood sign where we will take a break for photos & snacks. If people are still up for it we will hike the other side of the sign (the back) where you will see the stunning view of Los Angeles County and the Hollywood Lake. This will be a 7-8 mile hike with lots of hills. Be prepared for a workout.
What you need to bring: shoes that are comfortable & with good traction (we will be climbing hills), comfortable workout clothes (think gym wear), a hat (optional), sunblock, water and light snack.
There is an optional lunch after the hike if people are interested.
I would like to start this hike on-time so if you haven’t been here please come 5-10 minutes early to allow for parking.
Things you need to consider: please hike according to your skill level. This is a 3-5/10 level hike because of the height and length. Hikes is suppose to be enjoyable but yet challenging. We should be back at our cars before 12pm. We will go at a leisurely pace and take breaks when needed. Also, there is no restrooms along this hike only at the beginning so plan ahead of time.
I hope to see you there! Any questions please don’t hesitate to message me. Thanks!! Rain cancels the hike.
