Isla Verde Cafe
Isle Verde is hosting a free salsa night Wednesdays, with instruction care of my friend Maestro Flaco. He is also a Latin dance sensei from whom I’ve learned a lot & continue to educate myself – in the ways of navigating salsa rhythms. Located at 2725 N American street, the menu offers good Cuban food as well as affordable brick oven pizzas (with pizza dough made fresh on premises).
The evening will consist of one session, which will be split into two parts. The first part will be the socializing/dinning with your fellow members from 6:45 p.m. to 8 p.m. If you’re just rsvp’ing for the first part of the night, please note it in comments (I just want to make sure I can get a table large enough for accommodating everyone). You’re perfectly welcome to stick around for the lesson portion of the evening.
If you’re opting for the lesson portion only, then its best to arrive by 8 p.m. At that point the tables will be cleared from the main floor to create space for the class.
