These are stunning one of a kind benches made from recycled reclaimed wood from actual Indonesian fishing boats. Our village craftsmen take wood from old fishing boats that would another way be destined as scrap wood, firewood, or the dump and create one of a kind stunning accent benches. These benches can be utilized indoors or outdoors. No two benches are the same, and each bench reflects the colors of the original fishing boats. Most fishing boats in Indonesia are owned by small village families. They paint the boats in unique bright colors as a remark of their pride in their ownership. On the beaches in Indonesia you’re going to see the shore dotted with these brightly colored boats. These benches also reflect the original wood and will have some rugged taking a look features, further creating charm and personality. These benches are 12″ wide, 24″ in length, and 18″ high. They serve as great home décor accents and would be the hub of conversation. Regularly most of these products are found at small boutique furniture stores and will cost 4X as much as we are selling these for. We will be able to sell them economically because we go to Indonesia, and import directly from the local craftspeople that make these benches. These are made on the island of Java, in a small seaside village. This area of Indonesia is known for their wood carvings, furniture industry, and handicrafts. A few of the villagers have been involved in these industries for several generations. Some assembly is required.
