Description
Like different enslaved African American kids, young Harriet Tubman needed to work exhausting. In her master’s orchard, she spent long hours picking the juicy apples she used to be forbidden to eat. Harriet vowed to someday be free and to grow apple trees of her own. Whilst she used to be grown, she made her escape to the North. Then, time and again risking her life, she returned to steer many different African American citizens to freedom.
