Description

This Interpower 84351303 International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 60309 red, four-pole, high-power connector has five contacts, a six-hour (180 degree) ground location, and is acceptable for high-current, three-phase electrical applications. It has an international current and voltage rating of 16 amps at 220/380 and 240/415 VAC, and a North American rating of 20 amps at two hundred/415 VAC. Its housing is product of red polyamide 6 for strength and thermal insulation, and has an Ingress Protection (IP) rating of IP44 for protection against splashing water and foreign objects larger than 1 mm. It has an operating temperature range of -25 to +80 degrees C and an ambient temperature range of -25 to +40 degrees C. The connector has five contacts product of a copper-zinc alloy for conductivity, and contains five American Wire Gauge (AWG) #12 conductors, or five cables with a 1.5 sq. mm diameter. It measures 142 x 89 mm (L x H). (L is length, the horizontal distance from left to right; H is height, the vertical distance from bottom to best.) This connector has an Underwriters Laboratories (UL) 94 V-2 flammability rating, meets Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) requirements, and is certified by the Österreichischer Verband für Elektrotechnik (ÖVE) for conformity with Austrian standards. It’s UL and Underwriters Laboratories of Canada (cUL) Listed and marked for European Conformity (CE). This four-pole, high-power connector is acceptable to be used with a compatible inlet at construction sites, outside exhibitions, festivals, and other large events that require high-current, three-phase electric power.
