Description
Solomon Northup’s father, Mintus, used to be born into slavery and simplest freed after his master’s death. Solomon, alternatively, used to be born a free man in New York and lived the American dream with a home and a loving circle of relatives, until he used to be unexpectedly drugged, kidnapped, and sold into slavery within the Deep South. This story is the actual account of his 12 years as a slave. His odd journey proves his resiliency in spite of probably the most grueling and disturbing of circumstances.
