Description
A massively illustrated account of a joint British-Canadian-French assault in World War I. Previous books at the 1917 offensives have targeting a single sector of the front: the British at Arras, the Canadians at Vimy, or the French at Chemin des Dames. On the other hand, the offensive used to be really an Allied effort, a side fully covered by the writer.
Buffetaut’s detailed narrative is supported by an ordinary selection of 300 rare or hitherto unpublished photographs from government archives and personal collections.
