Forrest Chapman has been a gospel preacher for almost seven decades. He has preached hundreds upon hundreds of gospel sermons to thousands all through the southern US and beyond. Forrest has been involved in full-time local work in addition to missions in this country and in other parts of the world. In this book of his memoirs, he tells of his early life on the farm and how that shaped him to transform the man he’s nowadays in addition to following in his father’s and older brother’s footsteps of changing into a preacher. Forrest tells his life story of 88 years in these pages. He tells us about the good and the not-so-good in addition to the fun times and the sad times of being a preacher. After reading “68 Years In the back of the Plow” you are going to more clearly be mindful his ‘journey from the farm to the pulpit’.
