A Discourse on the Christian Character and Influence of Washington

Description

Delivered on February 22, 1846 by Reverend B.F. Morris, it is a sermon discussing the lifetime of President George Washington. Brand new interpretation of history attempts to portray Washington as being, at best possible, a deist. This sermon is only a single example of this assertion being false. Morris quotes Washington’s Rules of Civility in conjunction with a couple of of Washington’s other writings.
