This rare book covers the presentation of the history and civilization of the Egyptians over a period of just about 5,000 years, from the Predynastic Period to about 300 B. C. The origin, the manners and customs, language, writing, literature, faith, and burial rites of the Egyptian individuals are described, in addition to their history all over a few dynasties. The hieroglyphics are explained of their syntax, showing amongst others how the primary decoding of the Rosetta Stone was once achieved.
