A History of Trinidad and Tobago in the 20th Century (Volume One – 1901 to 1925)

Description

A History of Trinidad and Tobago

History is defined as a record of the past, subsequently the whole thing that happens is history. But when one wants to record the past, it is pointless to record the whole thing. One has to select what is vital.

And what is vital? It depends on the creator and what he wants to show. Simply put: it depends on the creator and what interests him. Overall, as relating to a once-colonial but now independent Trinidad and Tobago, one would surely be interested in the colonial journey to independence and in general one would be interested in its administrators and other leaders, particularly those women and men who fought for its freedom from colonialism. There will be the question of its resources, its economy and how it earned its keep.
