Description

The Provincial Land Workplace distributed land for the Lord Owner from 1634 to 1777. The hire rolls and the debt books, the manner during which the LP kept track of the rents due him, start in 1715. The surviving hire rolls consist of entries for every tract of land patented, the title of the individual for whom the land used to be surveyed, acreage, and hire.
