Description

Take a seed from an apple and plant it in the ground. What is going to happen? If watered, the seed will sprout and begin to grow into an apple tree. The tree will ultimately sprout flowers, which slowly become into apples. The process of a tiny seed growing into a piece of fruit is an exciting process to introduce to young learners. Featuring vibrant photographs that show the growth process of fruit, this book will engage students and encourage them to describe what is occurring in every picture. This book relates to Next Generation Science Standards and McRel Science Standards, and specializes in growth and change.

About Shell Education
Rachelle Cracchiolo started the company with a friend and fellow teacher. Both were eager to share their ideas and passion for education with other classroom leaders. What started as a hobby, selling lesson plans to local stores, became a part-time job after a full day of teaching, and ultimately blossomed into Teacher Created Materials. The story continued in 2004 with the launch of Shell Education and the introduction of professional resources and classroom application books designed to give a boost to Teacher Created Materials curriculum resources. Today, Teacher Created Materials and Shell Education are two of the most recognized names in educational publishing all over the world.
