For the second one edition, Rebecca Stone-Miller has added new subject matter covering the earliest mummification on the earth at Chinchorros, wonderful new Moche work of art and architectural reconstructions, the contemporary finds from the Chachapoyas culture, and a better emphasis on shamanism. All the way through, Stone-Miller demonstrates how the Andean peoples adapted and refined their aesthetic response to an extremely inhospitable environment.
