Description
Even as Junior is trapped for 8 days beneath his collapsed house after an earthquake, he uses his imagination for comfort. Drawing on beautiful, on a regular basis-life memories, Junior paints a sparkling picture of Haiti for every of those days–flying kites along with his best friend or racing his sister around St. Marc’s Square–helping him in the course of the tragedy until he’s in the end rescued.
Love and hope dance across every page–granting us a way to discuss resilience as a circle of relatives, a classroom, or a friend.
