It discusses how complex histories, ecologies, and development practices are negotiated by individuals of every age, and the community at large, detailing how they have interaction with their changing environments. The look at has wide applicability for indigenous communities fighting for rights to control their lands around the globe, in addition to for taking into account how health is hooked up to heritage practices in communities around the world.
