The general public may define a ‘genius’ as someone who has an IQ of over one hundred and forty points, if not significantly higher. In reality, this is far too simple to officially classify somebody as a genius. It takes so much more than a high IQ to be a true genius. You wish to have to be driven by your passion towards a goal, and then need to learn and develop the skills needed to gain that goal.

In essence, you are striving to become a genius of something rather than a genius of everything. Maybe you’ll become a genius at a certain area of mathematics, or a genius on the subject of computers. But are you able to become a genius of mathematics, computers, as well as philosophy and psychology? As you may have guessed, a high IQ is not required for any of these things. All You wish to have is a high level of creativity, as a way to get to originality.

The principles that you will learn in this book are timeless, meaning that the rules and guidelines that are to follow have been in use for thousands of years, and likely will continue to be for thousands more to come. If you’ve ever met an exceptionally creative person, you may have noticed that they consumed by the projects they are working on. It’s very likely that the reason that individual is so engrossed into their project is because they’ve been following any or all of the five creative principles.

Do all of the principles in this book work for everybody? No, because every individual is different and thus learns differently.
