I Am, Who I Fun the humanities to preserve traditional Apsalooke knowledge and enhance the indigenous identity of Native children. Apsaalook Voices and Stories is encouraged by the It Gets Brighter project with the IHS Partnership at Dartmouth College and a desire to enhance the native identity and vanity of native youth. My project aimed to make use of the humanities to preserve traditional Apsalooke knowledge and enhance the indigenous identity of native children. In collaboration with local schools, Dartmouth College, and the Running Strong for American Indian Youth Foundation, native youth got the tools important to create their very own booksbooks which will reflect their cultures, environment, and experiences as native youth.
