Description

Run capacitors are used on permanent split capacitor motors (PSC), such as blower motors, condenser fan motors, and compressors. Their purpose is twofold: to extend the starting torque of the motor; and to bring the present and voltage of the motor back into phase, which increases the motor’s power factor. The latter isn’t as essential on residential equipment as it’s for commercial or industrial equipment where large numbers of motors are used. The run capacitor is built for continuous operation and continues to be within the circuit after a motor starts.
SINGLE MFD / DUAL VOLTAGE – One capacitor that is both 370 and 440 volt!
HEAVY DUTY – Heavy duty, compact design for rugged performance.

BUILT IN INTERRUPTER – Fail secure mode safety mechanism.
