Description
This book fills a gap within the history of Nevada. Starting from the 1860s to the current, the creator main points, in a scholarly manner, the improvement of the state’s newspaper industry, recounting a couple of familial stories and the work of a few famous Nevada newspapermen. More attention is given to the scarcely-known stories of mining camp journalism, the hoaxes disseminated, the ethnic newspapers along side the coverage of ethnic-centered events, and the politics and activities of the current newspaper empires.
