Seaside Heights tells the history of a timeless seashore resort community situated on a barrier island nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and Barnegat Bay. The 224-acre the city used to be settled by residents of Philadelphia and Camden, who purchased white-sand loads to flee city life for the brisk ocean breezes and calmness that Seaside Heights offered prior to World War II. Seaside Heights uses the scenes captured in vintage postcards, a few of them very rare, as a examine of the changes that experience occurred within the the city since its incorporation in 1913.
