From a young girl growing up until now, I released my emotions through short stories and written word, I all the time had intentions on giving others a Diamond Dynasty key to share my stories. Having gone through and overcome such a lot, a multitude of sentiments are found in my work. Some poems are motivational and inspirational at the same time as others speak on survival, appreciation and gratitude. Some will also be gloomy and painful . My confessions are verbalized through my words …The hatred, betrayal, being in love, heartbreak, loyalty and jealously. Jealously …A disease you’ll be immune to, and people will still find how you can seep through …Being intimidated by you. I’ve held these feelings inside for so long; now it’s time for me to clear the air, let go and find peace. I encouraged myself to imagine there is light at the end of the tunnel. Each short story or poem I wrote used to be envisioned and felt. I even wrote about relationships that were never meant to be, along side the history of fake friends and my real ones that are a lifetime. Others have painted an ugly knock-off portrait of me. Still standing is a book written to show you the real me. Through everything I’ve endured, I am a beautiful woman, still standing…a diamond still shining-flaws and all. -Dynasty Diamond
