About the Author
Chevonna Gaylor is a healer. Her avenue for healing is through herrole as a licensed marriage and family therapist in California. To expandhealing, she also coaches and trains other mental health professionals. As aspeaker, Chevonna presents frequently at conferences.
Chevonna provides an immediate empathic connection, whilemaintaining professionalism. She has worked in just about every mental healthsetting and with most populations over the past 15 years. You name it, she’streated it!
Her areas of specialization are:
Supporting healing from trauma (all ages); working withadolescents; and coaching other mental health professionals
Chevonna possesses a duality of academic experience and insight.She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of California, LosAngeles (UCLA) and Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from the IllinoisSchool of Professional Psychology.
Chevonna is a committed wife, devoted mother and loves to travel.Her passion projects include:
Providing therapy to human trafficking survivors through thenon-proft organization, Run2Rescue
Volunteering with numerous socially conscious community based organizations
