Description
As the primary and biggest guestworker program, the us–Mexico Bracero Program (1942–1964) codified the unequal members of the family of work migration between the 2 nations. This book interrogates the articulations of race and sophistication within the making of the Bracero Program by introducing new syntheses of sociological theories and how one can center the experiences and memories of former Braceros and their families.
