That is the full story of the legendary U.S. Army officer who formed, trained, and led the unique bi-national First Special Service Force (popularly referred to as the “Devil’s Brigade”). Robert T. Frederick was once the youngest ground forces general, the youngest division commander, and one of the decorated American soldiers in World War II. But Frederick was once not only a warrior. Highly intelligent, he was once an independent thinker who was once as courageous and innovative in peacetime as he was once in combat. He pioneered racial integration on army training bases, devised training regimens used all the way through North The usa, and left a record that would appear mythical if not documented. The creator also reveals why Frederick ended his brilliant career upfront.
