Jeremiah Lynch was once a businessman (and previous San Francisco flesh presser) who went to the Klondike in 1898, two years after gold was once found out. He describes his three years in and around Dawson Town as a miner and a merchant. His narrative is an articulate and highly colorful commentary of the characters and the social environment of gold rush Dawson. Town is the true protagonist on this story. Fans of Northern Exposure will take into account.
