Volk’s memoir, Tractors, Planes, Golf and Dames, he recounts his life from days spent at the farm as a youth to serving his country Thru three wars — World War II (The Greatest Generation), Korea and Vietnam. It traces his dogged dedication to pursuing a career with the Skilled Golf Association of The usa. But much more essential, he talks brazenly about his love for his wife Petie, the care he gave to girlfriend Sandy, and the affection he has for his present wife Wandi, whose paths crossed his after Petie passed on to the great beyond. Thru it all, he credits his parents for the values of hard work and honesty that they instilled in him as a tender man.
