Description
Sumerian, almost certainly the earliest attested language in human history, has no known cognates. Accordingly, many features of Sumerian grammar are still under discussion. In the past research has focused totally on questions of Sumerian phonology and morphology. On this present study the creator concentrates on syntactic or pragmatic phenomena, especially at the referential properties of the nominal section of certain so-known as compound verbs, the unaccusativity contrast, and the opportunity of generic quantification within the double object construction.
