Es la muestra, también, de la calidad humana de su autor, Guarioné Díaz, un cubano-americano imbuido del mejor espíritu de servicio. Este libro viene a coronar su biografía de persona siempre dispuesta a ayudar al prójimo. Estamos, pues, en presencia de un libro muy útil. ENGLISH: Creator and journalist Carlos Alberto Montaner considers that this historical novel, even as written in an entertaining matter, still manages to educate the reader. After reading it, one understands the values of Cuba and, on the same time, the reasons for its collapse and failure. Also portrayed is the human quality of its writer, Guarioné Diaz, a Cuban-American steeped in the most productive spirit of service, at all times able to assist others. We are due to this fact within the presence of a very useful book.
