The real Local American story of the Conley sisters. Lyda, Ida, and Helena fought the USA Executive with guns, axes, and the law to shield their Wyandot Ancestors from being got rid of from their graves. The 3 sisters set up a small shanty referred to as Fort Conley and defended the Wyandot spirits ultimate resting place in Heron Cemetery, Kansas. Since no man would represent Local American ladies in court. Lyda presented their case to the Supreme court. The Conely sisters won their case 67 years later.
