Lyda, Ida, and Helena fought the USA Government with guns, axes, and the law to protect their Wyandot Ancestors from being got rid of from their graves.

The three sisters set up a small shanty referred to as Fort Conley and defended the Wyandot spirits ultimate resting place in Heron Cemetery, Kansas.

Since no man would represent Local American girls in court. Lyda went to law faculty and turned into an attorney. She presented the Local American tribe’s case to the Supreme court.

The Conely sisters won their case 67 years later.
