A native of gritty Baltimore City, Howard C. Perkins III, M.Ed. has consistently beat the statistics that an urban city places on a young male of color. The only child, born to a large family education was always very important to the family growing up. Education in Baltimore City Public Schools, college was always on the horizon, and after graduating, he was accepted into Morgan State University. Where he completed his Bachelors of Science in Communications. After working in the finance world of corporate America at Toyota Financial Services and at T.Rowe Price, a change was needed. During his last year, he volunteered with Americorps where he was tasked with working in middle school classrooms, to help reinforce classroom lessons. The fire to teach was lit to teach.
